The government is also required to suspend an obligor’s passport when certain criteria are met. 42 U.S.C.A §§ 652(k), 22C.F.R 51.70(a)(8) The statute was held constitutional in Euniqu v. Powell, 302 F.3d 971 (9th Cir., 2002).
